The health and well-being of your pet is our top priority. As news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our local and extended community continues to develop, we are monitoring the situation closely.
At this time, Brunswick Veterinary Clinic is considered an essential business - we remain open and are operating under our regular business hours.
While health authorities have indicated that dogs, cats, and other domestic animals are not considered at risk for contracting COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the continued health and safety of our patients, our clients and our team.
All appointments are now being seen as ‘curbside service’.
At this time only employees are allowed in the building, unless a patient's critical health status warrants the presence of their human family.
We ask that all appointments call us upon arrival. We will meet you at your car to collect your pet and return them to you at the end of their visit.
One of our veterinarians will call you to discuss their physical exam findings as well as an recommended diagnostic and treatment plans.
All patients being dropped of for surgical procedures, including dentistry, will be collected at your vehicle.
We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow for the additional time these protocols require.
We pledge to you that your pet will be treated with the utmost care and compassion during their exam, with a special understanding that these new procedures may seem unfamiliar to them.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with non-urgent items, questions, photos, videos or to request a phone consultation with one of our veterinarians. These are most appropriate for recheck or followup appointments where our primary goal is to evaluate progress, as opposed to diagnosis. A consultation fee will apply.
If you are feeling ill or experiencing flu-like symptoms and need care for your pet, please advise our team in advance so that we may take the appropriate precautions to ensure everyone's safety. We also ask that you look to a healthy and trusted friend, family member or neighbor to bring your pet to their appointment.
